As promised by EA at the E3 conference PS3 owners would be getting a free copy of Battlefield 1943 with preorder of Battlefield 3, months later more closer to the release date of Battlefield 3 they changed the free thing they were giving PS3 owners, instead of a free copy of BF 1943 they game PS3 owners all the DLC for BF3 1 week early access over Xbox live and PC. Later out of outrage from loyal customers a few preorderers of the game opened a class action lawsuit against EA not for money but for the free copies of BF 1943. Recently EA decided to give those who had preorders BF3 for PS3 the free copy of BF 1943, all you have to do is go to 1943redemption.battlefield.com and sign in with your specific information (i.e. country, language, Origin/EA account) and a code for Battlefield 1943 will be generated for you to redeem the game on the PSN store.
